Becoming attuned to the energies of the cycle of the Moon and to your own individual lunar needs, as suggested by the position and aspects of the Moon in your natal birth chart can support you in nourishing yourself and manifesting your dreams in reality.

Every New Moon represents a new beginning; an opportunity to start afresh in a new area of life. As the Sun and Moon align, seeds are planted and new potentials begin to take form.
One of the most potent ways to connect with the power of a New Moon is through creative intention setting, through a process known as New Moon Wishing. Jan Spiller coined this phrase in her book New Moon Astrology. She suggests making your wishes within 8 hours of the New Moon.

A New Moon Wishing ritual can include lighting incense and a candle, and taking a moment to reflect on where you are in your life on the day of the new Moon. Then imagine where you’d love to be and write down your hopes and wishes in your journal. By aligning with the energies of each New Moon (knowing where this lands in your own natal birth chart helps but is not necessary) you can further enhance this wish casting process.

Every month note when the new moon is and the sign involved -so for example the new Moon in Capricorn (December/January) would be a time to set intentions around the areas of ambitions, career, focus for the year ahead and your status including the roles you play-e.g. Mother, wife, Sister, daughter etc and how you can be at your best. Then at the full Moon in Cancer which falls 14-16 days later you would create a Vision board or some sort of symbolic representation that brings into manifestation your hopes and wishes around the theme of Capricorn’s opposite sign (just like yin/yang ) which is Cancer (which rules home, family, nurturing. emotions, environment and healthy living/eating) that nourish your Soul and inner Child.
