I wrote this last April -the 17th April 2011 on the full Moon ( at 27 degrees) of Libra as part of a Damsels in Success project inspired by the book ” Half of a yellow Sun”

St Valentine’s day feels like a good day to publish it

Half of my yellow Sun

Lighting the way

Distant memories rise up

Of days long since past

When the Sun was high in the sky

 Hotter than July

An awakening at last!

How are you?

So very pleased to meet you

How did it all happen they mused

Was it a dream?

A vision yet to unfold?

Or just a mirage?

Only true love is real or so I’m told

Will the other half of the Sun show up to reflect what was lost

Or will it remain an unfinished tale

What to do when you are left hanging?

To a silver cord as it winds its way upwards

Reaching into the deepest pools of the furthest flung heavens

Only the right time and place allow an opening

The wound heals and frees us all

But from what?

From ancient history

This love of past times meets an uncertain future

And the desire to meet again

But what if there can be no more endings

And new beginnings emerge

Almost there

Better things coming our way

Renewal in this light

Freedom from all that was and ever will be

And resolution in knowing this

Let go and sink into the hot Sun

Ignite the switch

 Divine Bliss

Keep moving into this light

Freed from the dark spaces

Lighting up the shade

The other half of the Sun emerges

And is opening into a new World

A brighter World

Full of hope, happiness and turning this World

Right ways up

The new view

Is here now!
