Lunar eclipse coming your way!
There is a lot going on celestially these days and I’m sure you are aware of BIG internal shifts that are related to this.
So let’s look at the heavens and how they are impacting and affecting us at this time for answers-as above so below-particularly this coming week with so much being activated.
2 Eclipses coming up in the next 3 weeks.
Firstly the Lunar eclipse in Capricorn occurs on the 26th June at 11.31 am GMT. It is a partial lunar eclipse (at 4 degrees 48 ) and will be especially significant to all the cardinal signs i.e. Cancer, Capricorn, Libra and Aries as all four signs are being triggered by the Grand Cross forming in the sky. With Pluto, Saturn and Uranus involved it will be a tense affair -a time for breaking free and transforming the old to allow the new to emerge. Of course this has been a recent theme and this eclipse may just throw it in your face more fully!
In ancient times Eclipses were feared and seen as portents of doom and negative events occurring. This was partly due to superstitious thought and the ignorance of how they occurred! In mundane astrology (study of World events) there does seem to be a correlation between them and major disasters that occur in the World. The book “Eclipses” by Derek Appleby and McCann calls them power points of astrology and has some fascinating case studies including one on the Titanic. Although there was no specific eclipse around the date they have linked it to the Eclipse that fell 6 months previously. The point here is that although eclipse occur on a specific date they are very often triggered by other planets and the moon’s nodes for some time either side of the eclipses. So the effects of eclipses can vary from a few weeks right up to 6 months! The nodes trigger this one in late October!
Eclipses are deemed to be Uranian -in that they bring all that has been bubbling under the surface related to the specific area ruled by Capricorn up to a new level of awareness and can spring shocks and surprises on us all when they affect us personally. Think pandoras box!
Capricorn relates to the establishment and status and it may bring up these issues on our news. This one may cause some emotional challenges to the structure of your life and how that needs to change to allow the new in! So the status quo in your personal life and your desire for certainty, security especially in your career,status and reputation may be transformed with both Pluto and Uranus involved in it! Eclipses can be very freeing in a positive way too, in that you suddenly realise what you need to do or receive guidance that seems to be Divinely orchestrated and the excitement around this one as it links with Jupiter and Uranus can propel your life into a new direction. So it is shaping up for exciting changes which may feel a bit unsettling as you walk an unknown path! Lunar eclipses affect your emotions at a deep level so make space and try to do activities that keep you grounded this week.
Saturn is moving forward and at the end of Virgo (ruling purification and change in work patterns, structure of healthcare/ your fitness and diet plus your day to to day routine) It is also involved in the eclipse so there may be a last review of these areas to let go of the past and allow new relationships to form both with yourself and in these areas of your life which can filter through once Saturn enters Libra (sign of relationships) in late July.
The solar eclipse in Cancer on 11th July is a total eclipse -so keep tuned for how it may affect you next month!
